Museum Card Types and Prices

MUSEUM CARD: Price is 40TL. The museum card is a card type that allows you to enter the ruins and museums of the Ministry of Culture free of charge and sold at the most affordable price. However, there is a certain limit for this. You can only visit the museum card twice a year for free. The museum is valid for 1 year from the date you received the card.

MUSEUM CARD +: Price is 50TL. Over 300 museums and archaeological sites belonging to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus can be visited for a year with the museum card + (some private museums are visited free of charge, exhibitions and theater representations are discounted). You can benefit from discounts on shopping at the café and souvenir shops.

Note: Topkapi Palace Museum Harem Section, Hagia Irene Memorial Museum, Ephesus Archaeological Museum and Goreme Open Air Museum are not valid for visits to Dark Church.

MUSEUM PASS ISTANBUL: Price is 85TL. The Museum Pass is valid for museums under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism which is located in istanbul, provides great facilities especially for foreign guests. Tourists, who are valid for 5 days, do museum visits without waiting in the box office.

How to take a museum card?

To get a Museum Card, you should go to the place where Museum Card sold, give your ID, you pay for it, and your card is given in 5 minutes.
